Drone attack: Ukraine kills 12 Russian officers, injures 15 others

Ukrainian forces have struck a command post of Russia's Federal Security Service in Donetsk with drones, killing 12 officers and wounding 15 others, according to the Ukrainian military.

The attack took place on April 22, when a series of explosions were recorded around 08:00 local time, while images circulated on social media showing the impact of an unfinished multi-storey building.

According to the commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, the operation used FP-2 drones manufactured by the Ukrainian company Fire Point, designed for medium-range strikes with an explosive charge of 60 to 100 kilograms.

The operation included eight precision strikes on the target and was carried out in cooperation with fighters from the First Corps of the Ukrainian National Guard “Azov”.

According to Ukrainian authorities, the struck facility served as a center for sabotage operations, building intelligence networks, recruiting, and coordinating pro-Russian forces.
