Surviving the ISIS terrorist attack, the 23-year-old chooses to end her life!

A woman who managed to survive the terrorist attack at the Brussels airport has not been able to cope with the depression that the incident caused her. She has accepted that doctors perform the act of euthanasia to end her life.

Shanti De Corte, 23, was in the departure hall of a Belgian airport with her schoolmates on March 22, 2016, when a bomb was detonated by ISIS terrorists.

Shanti, then 17, survived the blast, which, along with two other blasts, killed 32 people and injured more than 300 others. She suffered no physical injuries from the explosions either, but it was not easy to live with that trauma.

The teenager had constant panic attacks and suffered from depression, from which she claimed she could not get rid of. Shanti underwent rehabilitation treatment at a psychiatric hospital in her hometown of Antwerp, Belgium, and took a variety of anti-depressants to help her.

The young woman died on May 7, 2020, while the tragic story was revealed earlier this week when her mother Marielle told Belgian media VRT about her daughter's pain.
