The Eurovision winner sells the trophy for $ 900,000

The Ukrainian group "Kalush Orchestra", which won the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, sold the trophy at a charity auction for 900 thousand dollars.

The cup money will be used to buy three drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This will help the Ukrainian army in confronting Russian forces.

 " We plan to auction off our cup and donate all the money to a charity that helps the Armed Forces and Ukraine. Look, a lot of people are already donating from abroad and maybe many more would like to donate. And that, in our opinion, will be the thing that motivates them. We think it will be useful for Ukraine , "said the group's leader, rapper Oleh Psiuk, when he announced that they had decided to sell the cup.
