Unforeseen incidents often happen in Albanian families, but what happened in a family from Ferizaj in Kosovo is really rare.

According to the media in Kosovo, a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law from Ferizaj were both sentenced to 6 months in prison after in March of 2022, family arguments degenerated into violence between them.

The fight between the two had started after an initial verbal conflict, as the young woman with the initials FA, had exercised violence against her mother-in-law with the initials SF

According to the investigation file, the bride first started a conflict with her husband, asking him to clean their daughter, and the argument was overheard by the mother-in-law.

The latter, noticing that the situation was getting worse, had gone to the bathroom after the couple to change the girl. After a physical fight with the daughter-in-law, the latter allegedly attacked her physically by slapping her in the face and then the mother-in-law bit her left hand with her teeth.

The sentence against them by the Court was announced on July 6, 2022.
