"They stabbed him 25 times and spat in his face", the 17-year-old

A 17-year-old Albanian was stabbed to death on the evening of June 23 in Italy. The minor has been identified as Thomas Luciani. The incident took place in a park in Pescara.

The two juvenile perpetrators, one the son of a lawyer, and the other the son of a policeman, were put in handcuffs.

According to the Italian media, the Albanian minor owed 250 euros to one of the two perpetrators. They stabbed the Albanian 25 times, fifteen blows caused by one, ten by the other.

They attacked Thomas even as he lay dying on the ground, spitting on him and putting out a cigarette in his face.

After that, the two perpetrators went to the beach where they met their friends, and bathed in the sea.

One of the boys who was with the two arrested when he was interrogated stated:

"I did not react in any way. Thomas was making dying noises and was told to shut up… I was shocked, I didn't know what to do, I wanted to stop them, but I didn't know how, while they were hitting him. Regardless of what happened, we went to the beach to swim. There, one of the two killers "threw the knife that he had wrapped in a sock stained with blood, leaving it behind the rocks".

Thomas Luciani was abandoned by his parents at the age of 3 and since then lived with his grandmother Olga. The latter, speaking to the Italian media, said that justice will come to light sooner or later.

"Justice will come to light sooner or later. I hope so. You can't kill a guy like that. He was small, very small. He was a good boy. He had the mannerisms that all boys of this age have. He was not addicted to drugs. He was three and a half years old when his parents abandoned him, I raised him, I was his mother".
