Policeman Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed on Sunday in the village of Bajnské in Zveçan, had his son die more than 10 years ago in an accident.
As the Kosovar media write, it became clear that the court had ordered the person who caused the accident, Blerim Kasumi, to obtain a driver's license.
The police at that time had not executed this court order, and Fatlumi, Afrim's son, had died in this accident.
Fatlum Bunjaku, who was only seventeen years old at the time of the accident, was hit by Blerim Kasumi's car while he was going to practical work as a mechanic. The young man had an accident on September 10, 2012, in the village of Milloshevë, located on the Pristina-Mitrovica road, and died on the spot.
"September 10 was a tragic day. I was at work when I received the news that my son had an accident. When I got to the 'Shega' restaurant, I saw that my son had an accident" - the deceased, Afrimi, had already said.
As reported by the newspaper, the driver of the car, Blerim Kasumi, left the scene, to be arrested by the Police about four hours later.
