At the height of the debate over his plan to relocate Gaza residents, US President Donald Trump, through a video posted on social media, has offered a vision of what his "Middle Eastern Riviera" plan for rebuilding the Gaza Strip could look like when the war between Israel and Hamas is over.
"The United States is going to take the Gaza Strip and we're going to do a good job with it," Trump declared at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this month.
Late Tuesday night, Trump was careful to give the world a first look at what that job will look like, posting the 35-second video to his Truth Social account, captioning it: " Gaza 2025: What comes next ?"
According to the video, Gaza will be turned into an exotic resort with children and adults running and playing along the coastline and beautiful hotels built on the ruins.
The video, which appears to have been created using AI, shows Elon Musk enjoying the beach and music while throwing money at visitors and children.
In a strange moment, a group of belly-out dancers with beards, long hair, and feminine features perform on the sand while a song plays in the background with the lyrics:
“Donald is coming to set you free, bringing light to all, no more tunnels, no more fear, Trump Gaza is finally here, the bright, golden future of Trump Gaza, a brand new light, party and dance, the deal is done, Trump Gaza number one.”
Elsewhere, a child is seen holding a large, golden balloon with Trump's head on it.
Later, the president is seen enjoying the company of a dancer in a restaurant and in the background, the square of the largest building in the reconstructed region, which he has named: " TRUMP GAZA ", is seen.
In the center of the area, there is also a giant, golden statue of the president.
At the end of the video, Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are shown lying on the beach, topless, enjoying the cocktail they are holding.
