The Kosovo Police has confirmed that today, November 1, 2025, it received information about a serious incident in the Leposaviq area, where it is suspected that a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, with the initials MV, of Serbian origin, was injured and kidnapped by members of the Serbian gendarmerie within the territory of Kosovo.
According to the official announcement, the incident is suspected to have occurred near the so-called "ground zero" on the border between Kosovo and Serbia. The police immediately notified KFOR, the force responsible for security in the border area.
Ivan Ninic, a lawyer in Serbia, announced that the kidnapped person is Milan Vukashinovic.
The lawyer reacted on the social network X by asking several questions to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić regarding Milan Vukašinović, the person he says was shot on Saturday in Kosovo and who, according to him, was taken to the Niš Clinical Center.
The lawyer held Vučić responsible, whom he asked about shooting Vokašinović to death on Saturday in the village of Jelacke in Leposavic.
"Since those responsible are silent, I have to ask a few questions to A. Vučić, B. Gashić and the director of the VBA, Gjuro Jovanić: Was MILAN VUKASHINOVIĆ (1986), who is fighting for his life at the Niš Clinical Center, shot to death on Saturday at around 4:00 PM in the village of Jelakce/Leposaviq?," he asked.
"Has Milan had his left kidney and heart membrane removed at the Niš Clinical Center?" he added.
The lawyer also asked, "Is there still a bullet in Milani's spine and is it still unknown?"
"Will Milan remain disabled and how much blood did he lose during the transport from Prokuplje to Niš? Was Milan shot from behind and why? Did the members of the Serbian army wear camouflage uniforms without distinctive signs? Did 'someone else' participate, besides the army, in the hunting action against Milan? Were the 3 jeeps in the field without license plates? Was an expertise conducted at the scene, who conducted it and when? Where is Milan's 'Lada Niva'? Did you think this would be hidden? Do you think that no one, ever, will be held accountable?", wrote Ninić.
Milan Vukashinović has openly supported the former Deputy Minister for Communities and Returns, Radoica Radomirović, and has openly opposed the Serbian List.
Earlier, he had also had explosives planted in his car and was attacked several times in local media.
