"Uncle, I had money in my hand, I protected it from the thief"/

A day after the Basic Prosecution of Pristina issued the indictment for the murder of Liridona Ademaj, her brother has requested the maximum sentence for Naim Murseli.

In an interview with journalist Sidorela Gjoni on "Albania Live", Leonard Ademaj demanded life sentences for the three defendants.

Liridona's brother said that the two minor children are in Sweden under the care of social services. He also told of the first conversation he had after the incident with his nephew, who was present during the incident. The son had said that they had been robbed and that he had some money in his hand.

"It was an indictment filed by the Prosecution, we want the court to take the appropriate measures and the punishment to be capital. We still do not have the prosecution file in hand, after we see it we can talk more extensively about this issue."

We have only seen the indictment on the surface, we have expected it, but we have not seen it in detail. We expect the court to take it into its own hands as soon as possible. As a family, we demand capital punishment, as a family, as a society and throughout Kosovo.

The pain has eased somewhat with the indictment, but I hope it will ease even more when the deserved punishment is given. The plan was prepared at a table of three together. Everything was planned in cooperation, everyone knew what they were doing.

As a family, at the time of the arrest, we were at home, financial reasons came to mind, family problems had not appeared to us as a family. Liridona had returned to live in Kosovo and then the act happened. Their economic situation was good, we did not see anything that was going wrong financially, they were having a very good time together, we had not noticed anything.

We have no relationship with Naimi's family. The children are being cared for by the social state in Sweden, I must thank them. Their health is good but not psychologically, they miss their mother very much, they look for her every day and this worries us even more. They have been very shocked since the night the incident happened.

"I asked the little boy, 'Uncle, what happened?' He told me, 'Uncle, thieves came and it was an embarrassing moment for me.' He had some money in his hand and said, 'Uncle, I didn't give it to them,'" said Liridona's brother.
