The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, stated in an interview with CBS News that the war against Iran is nearing its end.

According to Trump, the military operation undertaken by the US and Israel against Iran is taking place much faster than anticipated.

"I think the war is practically over. They have no navy, they have no communications, and they have no air force. Their missiles are destroyed. Drones are being destroyed everywhere, including their production. If you look at the situation, they have nothing left. Militarily, they have nothing left ," the American president said during the interview.

Meanwhile, some Russian media outlets report that Trump also had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to these reports, developments related to the conflict in Iran as well as the situation in Ukraine were discussed during the call.

Russian sources have described this conversation as "constructive", however so far there has been no official confirmation of its details from the White House.
