Russian President Vladimir Putin has commented on the statement of his American counterpart Joe Biden, who today during a conference on climate change, called the Russian leader a "crazy son of a bitch".

For the Russian media, Putin said that such a reaction only confirms his previous statement that "it would be better for Russia if Biden wins the elections in the USA".

"Before, I said that for Russia, Biden would be a favorite president of the USA. It's not like he can tell me: "Volodya, well done, thank you, you helped me a lot." We understand what is happening there from a domestic political point of view and this reaction is absolutely adequate, which means I was right. You asked what is best for us. I can repeat - Biden", - said Putin.
