Lavrov against the international investigation into the death of Navalny

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has spoken out against an international investigation into the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

At a press conference on the sidelines of the G20, the Russian minister said that no country has the right to interfere in Russia's internal affairs.

"For Navalny, no one has the right to interfere in our internal affairs, considering what they did with Julian Assange. We reject an international investigation into his death. We will think about it ourselves. This is arrogance. These are forms of neo-colonialism," said the Russian Foreign Minister.

"Nobody knows what happened to Navalny in Germany. They said he was poisoned and accused us. But they did not allow us access to his blood tests: improper and unfair," Lavrov said.
