"Crazy son of a bitch", President Biden 'explodes' at Vladimir Putin: We should be worried!

President Joe Biden called Russian President Vladimir Putin " a crazy son of a bitch " at a fundraiser Wednesday in San Francisco, according to reporters from the group traveling with the US president.

"We have a crazy son of a bitch, like Putin, and others. And we always have to worry about a nuclear conflict. But the existential threat to humanity is the climate,” Biden told the crowd at the fundraiser.

Biden also criticized former President Donald Trump 's comments , comparing his legal troubles to the death of Russian opposition leader and Kremlin critic Alexey Navalny .

The president paraphrased his predecessor's comments before telling the audience that " if I had stood here 10 to 15 years ago and said all this, you all would have thought I must be committed ".

"He is comparing himself to Navalny and says that because our country has become a communist country, he was persecuted, just as Navalny was persecuted. Where the hell is this coming from,'' Biden said, according to reporters in the room. " If I stood here 10 to 15 years ago and said all this, you'd all think I must be committed. … It's surprising .”

In stark contrast to Biden and other Western leaders, Trump, the 2024 Republican presidential front-runner, has yet to condemn Russia or Putin for Navalny's death./cnn
