The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, said today that he received an invitation from Brussels, for the New Regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo, which stipulates that the only currency in Kosovo for payments is the euro, but that he refused to participate.

He stated that he will not be a participant in this meeting, as "the dinar issue is not part of the dialogue", adding that it will be decided next week who will go.

"No, there is no development, there is a request from Brussels to hold a meeting next week on the issue of regulating the transfer of currencies from Serbia to Kosovo, but this is not a meeting where the chief negotiator should go because the issue of the dinar is not it is part of the dialogue. I go when dialogue is discussed. We will see who will go", he said.

He said that there was no agreement for this meeting, while he accused the European emissary of violating the principles he had set himself.

"Lajcak sent me the letter because he constantly communicates with me. But this time I think that he has violated the principles that he has set himself because it is the first time that he has set a meeting without prior agreement with the parties and has tried to set the agenda despite the principles that he set in 2021 that neither a topic is not placed on the agenda without the agreement of the parties", said Bislimi.
