Colombian "Doll", dangerous contract killer, arrested
"Doll"

Her nickname is "The Doll", but she is not so "sweet" as she is considered a key member of a criminal organization in Colombia and is suspected of being linked to several murders, including that of her "ex". Her arrest has also received international attention due to the look she gave the photographer as she posed with handcuffs on her hands.

But who is "The Doll"?

23-year-old Karen Julieth Ojeda Rodriguez, known as "La Muñeca", has linked her name to several murders. The young woman, described as a "dangerous executioner" by journalist Jacobo Solano Cerchiaro, is suspected of leading a criminal network specializing in money laundering.

How did they catch "The Doll"?

Her victims reportedly include her ex-partner, whom she met on a secluded sidewalk to set a trap for him. Deyvy Jesús García Palomino, also known as “Orejas,” was shot on Sunday, July 23, in a rural area of Piedecuesta.

Police investigations revealed that the victim had met with "La Muñeca", allegedly to resolve a money dispute. This was also evidenced by conversations on his mobile phone.

It was an ambush. When he arrived, Deyvy Jesús was caught by two men who approached him on a motorcycle and shot him in the chest without warning.

The victim was rushed to the local Piedecuesta hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition and died a short time later. On September 30, police confirmed the arrest of “La Muñeca,” along with another woman, in connection with the incident.

In the service of "Los de la M"

According to Colombian authorities, the woman works for the criminal gang known as "Los de la M", which is currently fighting with other rival organizations in the region for illegal fine control and drug trafficking.

“La Muñeca” played a key role in coordinating targeted killings for money ordered by the criminal network, led by John Jairo Fernández Portala Marihuano from prison. Along with Karen Julieth, police also arrested a man named Leopoldo, from whom they seized a 9 mm pistol and a motorcycle.

The man is said to be one of La Muñeca's trusted men. With the arrest of the two men, Colombian authorities hope there will be more "calm" in the region.
