Priests complain: We have a lot to do with people possessed by the devil
Catholic priest

Priests in Italy have complained saying they have a lot to do with people who are possessed by the devil. Media across the Adriatic report that they have sought help from psychologists to find out if people have mental problems or are really possessed by the devil.

"Some said they were seeing 30 to 50 cases a day," said one researcher, Giuseppe Fraud.

Father Giuseppe Bernardi recounted the case of a woman who had attacked monks. Her father believed she was suffering from a mental illness while her mother was convinced she had a "demonic influence". They point out that there are many ways to decide if a case needs an exorcist.

According to researchers, some of the signs of the devil's invasion are unusual physical strength, the ability to speak Latin or Hebrew, and vomiting.
