The Kosovo government and Prime Minister Albin Kurti are being targeted by some media who accuse it of making a spectacle with vacationers who have started showing up in Ujman Lake.

According to reports, the vacationers are organized by Vetevendosje, and are sent to lake Ujman in a coordinated and well-organized manner. After beaching there, they are filmed and footage often distributed by Kurti's deputies, accompanied by patriotic messages and success.

It is said that among the holidaymakers, officials of Vetevendosje were seen, while the group of vacationers who were filmed swimming in the lake were seen being guarded by police units of Kosovo's special forces.

Lake Ujman is used for cooling thermal power plants in Obiliq, for water supply to some municipalities as well as for irrigation in some regions of Kosovo. In case of drought, water from Ujman is used to fill two lakes near Pristina, that of Batllava and Badovci.

Ujman was a forbidden area for locals, during the period he resided in his luxury villa, notorious Serbian criminal Milan Radonić.
