The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, wants to declare the Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic an honorary citizen of his country, as he has spoken highly of him.

Abazovic visited his country's basketball team in Manila, where he also gave an interview to the Serbian newspaper "Nova.rs".

"I'm glad I did it myself. Vlade Divac is a legend, these people, due to circumstances, spent part of their lives in Montenegro in their post-sports career. It is also an incentive for people to meet in Montenegro. It's a wonderful thing, personally I think we will do something similar with Djokovic", said Abazovic.

Abazovic has also shown how much he respects Novak Djokovic and his family.

"He was ready in Montenegro, he was on the cable car, he promoted it well. We are in contact, we also met in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

It's true, he who supported Milan and I supported Inter, then I was luckier. Well, even Novak can't always win at everything. In general, I would like it personally, if this is also his wish to become an "Honorary Citizen", he declared.

Djokovic is known in the Albanian community for his occasional provocations at the highest levels of tennis, making anti-Albanian and anti-Kosovo calls.
