Two people, including a child, killed in stabbing attack in Bavaria

A serious incident occurred today in the Bavarian city of Aschaffenburg after a man attacked several people with a knife, killing two of them.

According to initial reports, two people have died and several others have been injured. As reported by the newspaper BILD, a child is among the victims.

German police arrested a man, who is believed to have acted alone.

" The area around the crime scene is still cordoned off. One person is in custody. There is no information about other suspects. There is no risk to the public ," police said.
