During a meeting with the Democrats of Lezha, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, had a message for the mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu, whom he asked to resign and accused of wealth, including property in Zvërnec.
Berisha said he has a "digital file" on Ndreu, which he claimed contains data on what he described as the mayor's "nefarious deeds."
"Pjerin, I have your digital file here that I can keep these men and women reading your black deeds for three hours. You don't miss anything in the list of black deeds ," Berisha declared.
Further, the leader of the DP asked Ndreu to resign, stating that, according to him, otherwise all his assets would be confiscated, while also accusing him of having assets in Zvërnec.
"So if you don't resign now, you have no idea, you're lying, I guarantee that all your assets will be confiscated. Even there, even in Zvërnec, because we're getting rich even in Zvërnec with this land. The mafia has no boundaries, the mafia knows no boundaries. So, all assets will be confiscated. And since your soul remains with the bad policeman, not the good one, you will also have a uniform, but it will be a prison uniform and not a police one ," Berisha said.
