Ardian Muka, a resident of the village of Gërdec in Vora, was arrested by the police and then remanded in "prison custody" by the Tirana court, after being accused of imposing a financial fine of 300 thousand euros on his cousin.

The case was discovered in September 2026, when Erion Muka, on September 12, 2026, found inside the entrance door of his apartment's courtyard, a box of glasses, inside which was an automatic rifle cartridge and a letter with threatening writing, starting with the words "...Hello...".

This letter contained threatening and extortion messages addressed to him and his family, demanding a sum of 300 thousand euros.

This letter and the unexploded cartridge were then handed over to the officers of Police Station No. 7 in Vora by Erion Muka, who did not know that the fine-collector in this case was precisely his cousin, Ardian Muka.

The police have launched investigations, cooperating with the prosecutor of the case, Petrit Vukaj, where an incident was initially suspected that had a romantic background with a girl in Gërdec.

The girl's father was accompanied to the police station to give explanations, and during questioning, he did not admit that he was behind this extortion story.

However, after several investigative actions were carried out and the release of video footage, it turned out that the incident was related to someone else, namely Erion Muka's cousin, citizen Ardian Muka.

Ardian Muka was escorted to the police station and during questioning he admitted that he was the one who had placed the fine letter and the unexploded bullet on his cousin's door.

Regarding this incident, he stated that he did this after writing the letter and finding a live ammunition cartridge while wrapping it.

"...and on September 11, 2026, he left his apartment at around 10:45 p.m., after being dressed in a pair of work overalls, in order not to be identified, he put this letter and the bullet in a box of blacksmiths that were in his house and left it at the outer gate.

He then ran away and went to his apartment. He states that he feels remorse for this fact and will not repeat it again..." - says the police file, obtained by journalist Elton Qyno.

Meanwhile, the blue uniforms went to Ardian Muka's house to exercise control, finding and seizing work overalls, a pencil and a notebook, in which the extortion letter is suspected to have been written.

Ardian Muka has already been arrested on two charges, namely "Coercion by threat with the intention of taking property" and "Unauthorized possession of ammunition".

Meanwhile, a few days ago, the Tirana Court, at the request of Prosecutor Vukaj, decided to impose the measure "Arrest in prison" on the detainee, Ardian Muka.
