The chairperson of LSI, Monika Kryemadhi, has spoken again about the incinerator affair.
In a TV show on Tuesday, she repeated that Edi Rama, Engjëll Agaçi and Erion Veliaj are responsible.
What is noticeable is that Kryemadhi takes particular care to remove Arben Ahmetaj from all responsibilities.
In the "Open" show, journalist Klodiana Lala asked Kryemadhi if he has concrete facts and documents that implicate the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, Prime Minister's Secretary Engjëll Agaçi or even Prime Minister Edi Rama himself in this scheme.
The chairwoman of LSI "revealed" that there is evidence that the prime minister is involved in the signing of the incinerators of Tirana and Fier, while she accused the secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, Engjëll Agaçi, that with his direct intervention he has advanced the incinerator fraud scheme in violation of the law of Elbasan.
"There is no firm for Arben Ahmetaj either in Elbasan or Fier. I don't know what its implication is in the Tirana incinerator," says Kryemadhi.
Actually, this is a fraud, which does not come from the lawsuit, but from the fact that Arben Ahmetaj and Ilir Meta are collaborators in beating Rama over the issue of incinerators.
A few weeks ago, Voxnews.al exclusively obtained a document where Arben Ahmetaj expressed his agreement in principle for the concession of the Elbasan incinerator, through a letter he sent to the Ministry of Environment on November 14, 2014.
The letter that Arben Ahmetaj sent to Lefter Koka was written in the capacity of the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Entrepreneurship, a position he held at that time in the "Rama 1" cabinet, when the Minister of Finance was Shkëlqim Cani.
"Regarding your letter...for the granting of a concession/ppp for the construction and administration of the urban waste treatment plant of the Elbasan District, for the production of electricity with the selection procedure with negotiation without prior announcement of the contract notice, which is given to the company "Alb-Tek" Shpk, we express our agreement in principle", writes Ahmetaj in the reply he sends back to Lefter Koka.
But this is only one of the documents as Vox News has obtained another document about the Fier incinerator.
It is about a letter dated August 8, 2016 when Arben Ahmetaj was the Minister of Finance.
In response to a letter from Lefter Koka, the Minister of Finance at that time, Arben Ahmetaj, also approved the financial support for the Fier incinerator.
These are just two of the many documents that Arben Ahmetaj has signed for the incinerators. What makes him different from his former colleague Lefter Koka is that Ahmetaj was a collaborator with Meta and Kryemadhi in this denunciation to harm the government and did not go to prison because the presidential duo did not denounce him.
This silent agreement between them has made Ahmetaj to be among the persons unwanted by Prime Minister Rama.
Almost all their exits together have been eliminated, making Rama to have Minister Balluku or Ibrahimaj on his side for work directly related to the reconstruction.
The letters above not only prove Ahmetaj's involvement in the incinerators issue, but also the selectivity of Meta's party to hit former colleagues, who abandoned him and switched to the Socialist Party.
But they also prove the lack of professionalism of SPAK, which conducts investigations based only on the statements of LSI and does not go deeper to have a complete investigation and to bring out all those responsible.
