To put a seal on the conviction that Arben Ahmetaj was the opposition's trojan horse within the government cabinet, it is enough to look with a cold eye at the entire concentration of the opposition's political action this Wednesday.

From the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi were both mobilized after the publication of the Inside Story promo. The promo presents the show 'Corruption of Arben Ahmetaj'. Meta e Kryemadhi did not wait for it to be broadcast in full and as if they had received orders from Ahmetaj, they attacked with accusations against the incinerators and the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Ilir Meta appeared at a press conference, where for 20 minutes he did not say anything new from what he has stated in the past. The content suggests that the whole purpose was to cause a cacophony of noise to drown out the voice of the truth of Ahmetaj's corruption.

Monika Kryemadhi also came out with old statements and positions. Through a letter where Erion Veliaj declares that he agrees in principle to erect the incinerator and solve the waste problem in Sharre, Kryemadhi attacks the mayor, accusing that every vote for him is a wasted vote.

There is nothing new in both statements, but the old music of accusations and empty opposition rhetoric, with the aim of causing as much noise as possible to distract the public from knowing the facts that prove Ahmetaj's rampant corruption.

But not only the Freedom Party. Camouflaged with the youth generation, the Democratic Party did the same. FRPD youth appeared in front of the municipality with waste bags. But, all the symbolism of the young people of the DP came back to him like a boomerang. Why? First, in order to appear before an institution to blame it for something, you must have the facts and the truth with you.

The facts today are stubborn and no one can be stupid enough to come out and declare or accuse that Tirana today is dirtier in terms of waste than it was before the concession of the incinerator.

Secondly, it is also a fact that for the complete construction of the work, the deadline set in the contract is 2026, which means that the company is within these deadlines. Thirdly, it is equally true that the other two incinerators, the one in Elbasan and the one in Fier, are ready for work, but as Erion Braçe declares, the constant political pressure is hindering them.
