December was an "arena" of clashes between the opposition and the majority in the plenary hall of the Albanian Parliament, and there were even blockages of the rostrum, throwing of flares, and even physical clashes between deputies, ministers, or with employees of the Republican Guard.

The approval of the budget and the swearing-in of the People's Advocate brought about all this chaos, which seems to have not impressed the Speaker of the Albanian Parliament, Niko Peleshi, who, like a true Korçar, has been focused on parties, lunches, dinners or cocktails.

We have seen Niko with a guitar in his hand playing music, mainly Korça serenades, accompanied by good food and drinks, tobacco, and a festive atmosphere, which is most felt in Korça.

And, trying to make the Assembly a "small Korça", he has introduced the spirit of harmony, food and drinks, for employees or even those who belong to him. The Assembly Hall seems to be turning into a "buzuk", where all the good things listed above will not be missing.

According to documents available to VoxNews, the Albanian Parliament opened a tender in the last days of 2025 in the context of the New Year's holiday atmosphere. The subject of the procedure was "services for lunches, dinners, receptions and cocktails."

The allocated limit fund was a full 10,000,000 lekë, or if we convert it into euros, over 100 thousand euros. A considerable amount, given that that month, the Assembly was seething with quarrels and squabbles, to the point of physical clashes.

But none of them impressed Niko, who decided to hold the next tender for "waiting services." It seems that the popular saying "let the dogs bark, the caravan moves ahead" has found a place for the Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, who has not even added water to the fire about what is happening with the opposition.
