Who's the prosecutor Jija brought out as Nuredin Duman's close?

31-year-old Besian Djija, arrested by SPAK as involved in several criminal events according to evidence given by Nuredin Dumani, spoke during the hearing about assigning the security measure for the latter's connection to powerful people.

Xhija spoke of ministers, deputies and prosecutors. He did not mention names of ministers and deputies, but mentioned the name of a prosecutor.

"Nuredin Dumani has committed 12 murders. After every murder, he told us he couldn't find me anything, as he had ties to ministers, deputies, prosecutors, he told me he had something to do with prosecutor Altin Dumani. He has his own man and he felt protected," Xhija said.

Altin Dumani is a SPAK prosecutor, even three years ago he competed with The Kraja before the Supreme Prosecutor's Council to be elected head of this structure. He is part of the Special Prosecution section investigating organised crime.

Altin Dumani was born in Shupenza, Kumanovo. He is one of the prosecutors who first led the Task Force unit, set up years ago to fight white-javelin crime. He had a 20-year career as a prosecutor in March 1999 and first stepped on the prosecutor, serving in Saranda.

He became attorney general for the first time in Tropoja in 2000, a post according to Duman that was rejected by many others due to problematic issues there. He caused a stir with the stance he held during the trial of 29 Gerdec defendants and the 3 life sentences he sought for three of the main defendants of the March 15, 2008 tragedy.
