In a report filed on Friday in SPAK by journalist Adriatik Doçi, it was claimed that prosecutors Klodian Braho and Eneid Nakuçi, who are investigating the incinerators file, have hidden the evidence that incriminated former deputy prime minister Ahmetaj.

The complaint claims that Zoto had paid for several hotels abroad where Ahmetaj stayed. "The investigations by the two SPAK prosecutors were hidden, to protect Arben Ahmetaj," Doçi declared to the media.

"I informed Arben Ahmatej about the benefits he had from Klodian Zoto. Payments for former minister Ahmetaj were found on his computer", he added, in a statement to the media after submitting the report.

But former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj denied on Friday through a message that he had been paid for trips abroad by Klodian Zoto.

"It's not true. Let there be public or non-public accusations. There is no connection. I've been all over the world," said Ahmetaj, who declined to provide details about the trips mentioned in the report, saying they belonged to his private life.

Këshilla për ish ministrin Ahmetaj, të udhëtosh është mirë, por çështja është me paratë e kujt...

Deputeti i PD-së shton më tej se mijëra euro shpenzime të përfituara nga Arben Ahmetaj dhe të padeklaruara prej tij, (një vepër tjetër penale), janë prova të qarta dhe të pakontestueshme korrupsioni, për të cilat SPAK duhet të veprojë menjëherë.

Denoncimi nuk është trasmetuar nga mediat që pretendojnë që janë opozitare, që në vend të pasqyrojnë këtë denoncim të fortë, merren ende me deklaratën e ministres së Jashtme Olta Xhaçka për largimin e ambasadores amerikane Yuri Kim nga Tirana.
