Gramos Sako distributes 220 alms packages to the residents of Tepelena after the elections!

The local by-elections were very formal, as the opposition "hid" with independent candidates. The results were in favor of the majority, which won all municipalities. One of them was the Municipality of Tepelena, where the competition and election as a deputy of the former mayor Tërmet Peçi, paved the way for Gramos Sakos, the former head of the Republic Guard.

On the one hand, Gramos was elected mayor of Tepelena, and on the other, his family's 2T firm continues to win tenders across Albania. But the commander himself is not far behind, as he has begun to reward those who voted for him.

According to documents available to VoxNews, the Municipality of Tepelena has opened a tender for the purchase of food packages for the families of Tepelena. These are the famous alms packages, which continue to be commonly used in 2025 in Albania.

In the local by-elections, Gramos Sako, with the Socialist Party in the background, won the race with 77.85% of the vote. He received 3,261 votes.

A few months after these very formal elections, Sako opened a tender with the object of "purchasing food packages for families in need on the occasion of the end-of-year holidays".

The procedure will take place on December 9, 2025, where 2,020 food packages are required.

"A food package should contain 2 liters of oil, 2 kilograms of sugar, 2 kilograms of flour, 2 kilograms of rice, 2 kilograms of thierza, 2 kilograms of peas, 2 kilograms of pasta, 2 kilograms of beans, 1 kilogram of starch and 2 1.5 liter soft drinks.

"All goods must be accompanied by the relevant certificate and expiration dates. Packages must be in cardboard boxes with the inscription 'Tepelen Municipality wishes you Happy Holidays'" these documents state.

It further follows that the firm must be licensed for this economic activity and have successful experience. More as a criterion, these ranks seem to be a predetermination of the winner. So, the same firm that has performed this service on other occasions, at a time when the Municipality of Tepelena was led for many years by Tërmet Peçi, will receive it.
