After the approval of the Territorial Reform that includes the merger of 15 municipalities, including that of Selenica, residents have expressed their disappointment with the vote of MP Vullnet Sinaj.
Despite his promise not to vote for the reform, Sinaj voted for it, breaking his promise to the residents. The latter told the media that they would not vote for it again if they were asked to vote.
" That deputy of ours is wrong and he will come to ask for votes again. I personally will not give him one."
"Until the day before yesterday he was saying he would come out in defense, in the end he voted against."
"They melted it down reluctantly because the people didn't want it. They didn't ask the people. I'm also disappointed with the MP. Selenica is a thousand-year-old city, why are they melting it down? To depopulate the country? That's why they're doing it ," were some of the residents' statements.
