From the construction permit of Porto Romano to the towers of Tirana, what is the list of 44 KKT decisions?

In the last meeting, the National Council of the Territory approved 44 decisions regarding construction permits. Future developments in the fields of road infrastructure and the construction sector are defined in them. According to the list, KKT has approved the construction permit for the new Port in Porto Romano, which is in the initial phase, while the developer is the Durrës Port Authority.

Another important object found in Durrës is the construction permit for the Football Academy complex.

In the list of 44 approved projects, there are also several other public investments, including substations for electricity, marine infrastructure in Orikum, interventions in the Lead mosque in Shkodër, as well as a series of constructions in order to manage the tourist flow in some municipalities of the country.

Most of the decisions made are the permits approved for the construction sector, especially in Tirana. The most important is the permit for the development of a tower which will be 65 floors above ground and six floors below ground. Meanwhile, in the list of KKT decisions, there are also constructions on "Dritan Hoxha" street, anywhere with 35 floors, as well as on "Teodor Keko" street, for the construction of a building with 50 floors above ground. Important constructions are also planned to be carried out in the municipalities of Himarë, Vlorë and Lezhë.

Since 2019, there has been a significant increase in construction permits. According to INSTAT, only in Tirana in the period 2019-2023, 6.5 million square meters of construction permits were granted.
