From the tourist flows that visited Albania during the month of June, Poles and Italians lead.

According to INSTAT data in the publication on accommodation structures, it turns out that 9.2% of non-resident visitors were from Poland and 8.3% from Italy.

However, they are ranked after citizens from Kosovo who occupy the first place with 12.6%.

The data show that during June there was a 49.7% increase in visitors compared to the same period last year.

The number of resident visitors increased by 12.2%, while the number of non-resident visitors increased by 76.4%.

The total number of overnight stays has also increased by 52.8% compared to June of last year, where the highest increase was recorded by the number of overnight stays by non-residents with 60.7%.

The number of overnight stays by residents has increased by 36%.

According to the data, the number of non-resident visitors who have been accommodated in the South Region has recorded the highest increase, by 2.5 times. In coastal areas, this indicator has increased by 75% compared to the same period last year.

The rate of room utilization increases significantly

During June, the occupancy rate of "Hotels and similar accommodation" rooms is 28.5%, compared to 22.9% in the same period last year.

The bed occupancy rate of "Hotels and similar accommodations" is 30.5%, compared to 23.2% in June 2022.

The net utilization rates, of rooms and beds, are two indicators that measure the percentage of utilization of accommodation capacities, rooms and beds available for visitors.
