The remaining stock of Zvirina apples has forced farmers to protest this Saturday morning.
Dozens of farmers have gathered at the intersection of the village of Zvirinë on the Korçë-Pogradec national axis.
The farmers of the village of Zvirinë say that their apples have remained unsold due to the importation of apples, mainly from Serbia.
In this protest announced earlier, there are also police forces which are positioned in this axis to control the situation.
About 15,000 tons of apples have remained unsold in the refrigerators of the southeast of the country, and the reason, according to the big collectors of this fruit, is the collection that was done at a high price in the season, as well as the importation of apples.
