From Ermal Peçi
This morning while browsing the news, I learned about the death of a young journalist in Kosovo. Arton Turkaj, a young man, who died as a result of the infraction. A human tragedy, both for him and his family, who lost their eyesight.
Arton Turkaj was a journalist, who in his statuses harassed, used metaphors and memes where many of the shows took and harassed the public. He was very popular on social networks and this came from his sharp mind where through words he provoked human thought and provoked debate.
Such was the teasing he had done on Christmas Day where, among other things, he had written: "Happy Christmas, God bless you" a sarcasm, a play on words or an intellectual teasing through words, which had affected more than one part of the Muslim religious community of the Albanian nation.
In fact, I often wonder how far freedom of expression is? How far can we play with the word and how much power can the word have to bring about a serious consequence? I think about it often and I have come to the conclusion that what damages a society is action, but not words because thought emancipates a society.
What really worried me today was not only the reaction of some individuals, who were happy for the loss of this young boy's life, but more disturbing in my eyes was the reaction of Imam Ahmed Kalaja, who also leads the mosque on Kavaja street. . Who had posted the photo of the deceased along with his phrase about Christmas and wrote:
"But don't make fun of God, because your heart leaves you somewhere...
He himself, God, commands the heart... and not man himself.
Amin!"
Disturbing how an imam deals with the death of a young boy and not only proclaims it, but also does it on social networks. I immediately communicated with my Muslim friends, who also practice the Muslim religion, to ask them what the Koran says, but also to guide me, since my knowledge of religion is very limited, since I have not read the Koran. .
The Muslim religion commands these five pillars:
1- monotheism, worship of one god
2- zakat, the tax for the poor
3- going to Mecca if you have the opportunity once in your life
4- prayer, praying five times to learn the daily routine and duties
5- sabre- patience
In the Qur'an it is said that Allah is with the patient, so give you the strength of thought to bear the mistakes of others and bear the unbearable.
He says it is better to let God, despite the fact that you can take revenge as much as he has hurt you. It is better to forgive him.
Therefore regardless of whether he is Muslim, Christian, atheist or any other faith and he has done you wrong, God tells you to forgive him because God forgives, and does not take revenge because he is the creator. Who among us in the difficult days of his life turns to God and this is very meaningful to give the message of what importance God has for each of us.
Therefore, today Imam Ahmed Kalaja must apologize publicly because God forgives and does not take revenge. God brings kindness, education and the spirit to live together, regardless of the opinion that each of us may have.
