Lulzim Basha has been the most anathema figure by his political opponents, in at least 9 years of the socialist government. Sometimes a victim of his blunders, sometimes a lively tone in songs and arrangements, he has carried a weight that, for the sake of the truth, he has not shared with Sali Berisha. Or at least, since 2013, even when he was accused of being a puppet of his ancestor, he has denied it. While Sali Berisha accompanied them with silence as if to say "yes, you are right". Then, the big rift that happened with the expulsion of Berisha from the PD opened up the cabbage noodles that no one could swallow anymore. Berisha distanced himself as the man who had never influenced Basha. Basha was declared as the chairman who was dictated by Berisha for the darkest acts of the Democratic Party. From the burning of mandates, to violence against institutions and attitudes towards ambassadors, etc.

But today, without the need to once again make the biography of the opposition, we find ourselves in front of a fact that is as old as it is to some extent 'lucky' for PD. Lulzim Basha has decided to run for chairman of the Democratic Party. Although in a race with Gjergj Hani, today he probably reflected after a long break and recognized his friends and ungratefuls who put him at the top of the lists. In fact, Hani's 'anonymous' candidacy has no sin in itself, even though it makes the race somewhat informal. Maybe it was Basha's scenario for Alibeaj to resign after May 14, but Jorida or Gazi flirting with the doctor from Vau i Dejas could not be taught by Lulzimi to lead the party to a stalemate in Group and Kryesi.

Today, DP seems more incapable than ever to produce new elites. More precisely, the lack of human resources is evident, let alone the desire or the mechanisms to give the direction to an ace. Therefore, Basha's re-election would save the DP first from the chameleons who start from Salianji and end up in Korreshi with their friends. On the other hand, it should be appreciated that Basha is accepting the highest leadership position in DP at a difficult moment after a series of attacks from Berisha, attacks to which he has not responded on equal terms. Berisha still remains steadfast in the problems he causes the PD, Rama remains stronger than ever thanks to the high electoral support. Who would sacrifice so much entering the sea on foot, with enemies 'internal and external?' It seems that Lulzim Basha apart from his ambitions and regrets, he is the only person who can provide financial support for DP, but also political support with international contacts. It should not be forgotten that while Sali Berisha is self-proclaimed mujahedin and demands 1 minute of silence in the Assembly for someone whose name he does not even know, Lulzim Bashen has not been left a western embassy without inviting him to the national holidays of the respective countries.

For the above reasons, Basha is not said to give guarantees for the victory of the opposition. But at the very least, it makes it difficult for Berisha to destroy the DP and gives hope that maybe this year that he took a break, he has taken some courses on how to become an opposition.

No singing of hymns, no calls for breaking windows, no walking around the Pyramid until dizzy. And of course, a right-wing opposition saw Ilir Meta, Petrit Vasili's wife or 'majordomin'. Whoever leads their party and whatever they name it.

Therefore, today Lulzim Basha is the least evil that the democrats should open the door to. Since the ideal good is impossible to find.
