Today there is a new development. Ilir Meta has admitted that the Files Authority released the state secret about his file and for this he has promised to sue him. Not a bad idea. Being insurance associates is a state secret regulated by law and the law must be respected. And Ilir Meta has the right to defend himself for revealing secrets if he was a spy. If it was not ska, why is he worried that there are no such secrets.
The authority has respected the law so far, as it has not directly accused Ilir Meta of being an insurance collaborator, but asked the Parliament of Albania to abolish the clause that prevents it from investigating politicians connected to the State Security, who have once received a certificate of cleanliness from the "Mezini" and "Bezhani" Commissions in the 90s.
For this, he referred in the attached letter to the finding of a document where the student Ilir Metaj denounced "using operational techniques" a fellow student who talked about his escape plans.
All credible doubts are that it is about former President Ilir Meta, whose official surname is Metaj, another legal problem with his past.
Ilir Meta had the chance to reject everything by authorizing the Files Authority to search for his file and make it public. He didn't, instead he went on the attack against him, blackmailing him personally.
Today's reaction and especially the allegation of disclosure of secrets by the Files Authority, seals the fact that they have made public a truth. Practically, the Files Authority has only written to the Assembly, and to illustrate their request they have shown the example of former economics student Ilir Metaj.
But the fact that Ilir Meta calls this revealing a secret, shows that it is about him. If it's not about him, why sue them for leaking secrets.
On the other hand, his request to sue the authority for manipulation of the file, contradicts the claim of disclosure of secrets. Bringing out the secret means making a truth public. The manipulation that Ilir Meta claims means that it is a lie and she has no reason to keep it a secret. If Ilir Meta's file is manipulated according to him, then he has no reason to sue him for leaking secrets, because a manipulated file is not a real file and as a result does not contain leaking secrets, but leaking lies.
So Ilir Meta must choose to sue the Authority, either as a leaker for him by admitting that he was a spy, or as a manipulator of his file, since he claims that he was not. But for this second one, I must once allow the authority to do research, then sue him.
Currently, he wants that researches are not carried out, and he wants to be sued for leaking secrets. Ilir Meta has the right to defend himself for "leaking secrets", but for this he must first admit that he is a spy. After accepting this, he has the right to sue the Authority for the release of the secret, if it releases it. But in order to protect himself like this, he has to admit that he is a spy and he has to go home himself. Otherwise, the law forces the Authority to make the "secret" public.
