Every being on Earth seems to be made to function according to certain rules with its own kind. And it is precisely these rules that maintain balance in alignment, territory, and influence, rules that have law enforcement as a means rather than an end.

It doesn't matter if they live in water, on land or anywhere else, these unwritten rules work the same way and in every being they are constantly cultivated throughout life, to avoid any misunderstanding. It would be naive to think if in all this history we could find some morality. It doesn't exist especially when it comes to power. Or worse, its conquest.

Each sector group has its workers, who depend on a leader. The latter is no less independent. He is subject to one above him. And so the system continues. Dependence from above always has a head above. And in the end, the first of all, has the task of controlling the entire system. Not because he requires its functioning in a fair and honest way, but all the chances are to firmly maintain his position. And of the system, of course.

A status that takes time to be achieved, despite the confrontations and controversies that may occur around it. And a little luck, of course, in this case, but it would not be lost due to the imbalance of the sector groups below it.

The jungle operates in the same way. Its rules and laws are designed to maintain order and balance among animals. These laws emphasize respect, hierarchy, and survival, ensuring that each creature knows its place and responsibilities on the 'farm' within the ecosystem. The key element includes the 'Law of the Pack', which dictates the behavior of wolves. Whoever steps out of it may well die because the strength of the wolf is the pack and the strength of the pack is the wolf. Each day begins with cleansing from yesterday's dross; drink deep, as the proverb says, but never too deep.

And we must not forget that the night is for hunting as a sport and the day for sleeping. The peace maintained by the 'lords of the jungle' - the panther, the bear or the tiger - undoubtedly increases the chances of survival in time. You can kill and feed yourself, your partner or your cubs but you can never do this work for pleasure. This is called greed and greed is dangerous.

While the 'king', the Lion, silently watches your every move, a small mistake on your part, a delusion or desire for power to take his place, will undoubtedly give him every right to eliminate you - this time with the file in hand that the law is being broken and you cannot go against it.

Although humans are alluded to as already developed beings, with a high level of consciousness - there are few cases when in a survival situation or high pressure one does not react based on instinct, just as animals fight in the jungle. The opposite of the Law of the Jungle in this case would be precisely our Modern Law. The doctrines that humans invented and then regulated life.

In some societies, it managed to be implemented by pushing away the primitive, while being so careful to preserve the system. Unusual individuals or powerful groups mostly preserve their version of justice and even fight for it. This is why justice is often arbitrary and value-based, leading to a lack of trust and stability within the system and society. But while the principles of due process, the presumption of innocence or the right to a fair trial ensure that justice is applied accurately and consistently, then the question arises;

What is the goal of justice - punishment or finding the truth?

For Socrates, justice was a fundamental value related to virtue and morality. According to him, justice was not reduced to respecting the laws or norms established by society, but had to do with the ethical behavior of each individual. A behavior that is difficult not to be seduced by the materialization that man has recently made of reality, along with the insatiable desire and ego to be the first of the first.

And as long as we are on Earth, justice will be a key factor in the functioning of our society, a scale that will always be tilted and controlled by the strongest, as a means of dictating the 'absolute truth'.
