The tragic fate of Genard and Sonida, a story with a valuable message for us!

The story of Genard and Sonida is a painful one that begins in 1997, at a time of chaos and uncertainty, when their mother was accidentally killed by a stray bullet while preparing a pie on the balcony of their house.

She fell lifeless before the eyes of her children, who, innocent and confused, approached her and spoke to her, not realizing that they had lost their most beloved person forever.

The images of that night, especially the fact that Sonida washed away her mother's blood with her hands all night, remained deeply engraved in their souls.

After this tragedy, the lives of the two children changed radically.

Even though they grew up with the pain of loss, they tried to build a better future, distinguishing themselves as excellent students in the United States of America, awarded gold medals for academic achievements.

But success failed to heal the inner wound, especially for Sonida, who deeply suffered the loss of her mother and was never able to overcome the trauma that accompanied her throughout her life.

As if the pain of the past weren't enough, a few months ago Genardi and Sonida also tragically lost their father.

He was severely beaten on the street and, as a result of his injuries, died, leaving behind two emotionally broken children.

This second defeat became the final blow, which finally crushed their dreams and hopes for a normal life.

Genardi and Sonida are being treated in a psychiatric hospital, dealing every day with the consequences of the deep traumas they have experienced.

Their story is a strong call to society on the importance of being close to people who have experienced traumatic events, to support, listen, and help them in time.

 One mistake, one act of violence or negligence, can destroy not only one life, but entire generations, while support and empathy can be the salvation they were missing./joq
