Today the world seems more troubled than ever before. Politics with events in the middle, inside and outside, have received all the attention in anticipation of decisions that will definitely change the course of events. Perhaps the fate of Europe itself.

So what's going on? Why does Europe seem to be in so much trouble today? Why once again, since the Second World War, questions its human values?

Europe, the oldest, most coveted continent, the one that was worth incomparable proportions to humanity and the world, is facing economic, political and territorial difficulties in recent decades, questioning even its superior strength.

And just like in mathematical theories where every problem awaits the need for a solution, the question that arises is will Europe be able to overcome these obstacles? These shades of disbelief?

Will it be able to overcome the desire to escape from the motivation to rise again to the levels of the '80s and '90s, when dreams were much closer to life than today's reality?

Today we have to admit that Europeans are no longer clearly read in their eyes, suspicious and distrustful. Since the mid-2000s they have experienced a financial crisis that shocked them, warning that the days of industrialization with a contented workforce were coming to an end. The agony came very quickly, especially after the pandemic period. The small economy fell sharply and finances emptied their pockets. What happened next was a chain of events that accompanied the crisis to gain ground. What were they?

Foreigners

The weakness of the state in front of the individual in the countries of the East and the inability to face a new but frustrated power of immigrants due to the lack of rights in their countries, revealed a new problem to Europe. Totally unknown and not so manageable. It is a fact that the multi-culturalism and religious diversity from the arrival of foreigners towards the west unbalanced the society in European cities, affecting its tradition and conservative values. The war had been over for almost 8 decades. But the conflicts had remained there. Covered in the hives of bees that simmered in the hive in a world unjustly divided in two, reigniting again after the fall of the iron curtain. The last one?

Conflict

The war that has been going on for more than two years in Ukraine is another serious attack on a solemn so-called peace, established decades ago by some wise men with thick beards who will continue to miss Europe for many years to come. tall.

And under this troubled picture of the continent, there seems to be quite a bit of emotional concern for the European, the immigrant or the foreigner who tries to find his identity in the multitude of a tedious bureaucracy towards these destinations.

Politics, this word that today everywhere does not leave a good taste, remains the only battle horse. Whether we like it or not, it is through which we must choose to release the destinies of our continent into our hands. In the last decade, the left forces have been the ones that mainly dominated the bureaucratic salons of the club. Facilitative foreign policies in the issue of emigration and strong internal social and support policies attracted hundreds of thousands of foreigners from the East and beyond.

But do we have an oversaturation of these principles today?

On the eve of the European elections that will be held on June 6 - 9 this year, a radical right-wing and conservative spirit seems to be climbing up in the polls confirmed by the European Parliament. In the so-called G-6 group, which includes Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, quotas for a political rotation have been increased. And Europeans, already tired, seem to trust the right-wing, conservative forces more this time, hoping to reduce the flow of emigration, although it is seen as a lost war. Believing more strongly in patriotism and the spread of national values and traditions, they try to find faith in their future and that of their children as well, a generation must already be said to accept being demotivated by the beautiful goals of life.

Of course, for us, citizens who come from developing countries, this is not good news. The dream of the west is not what we expected as the possibilities for a better future begin to be prejudiced by expecting everything to pass through the harsh bureaucratic and snobbish offices of these countries.

Therefore, today I am sure that the founding fathers of Europe, such as Adenauer, Schuman or De Gasperi, if they were to follow these developments, would certainly be horrified by the success of some of the fiercest antagonists of European integration, such as Geert Wilders or Marine Le Pan. .

But unfortunately this is Europe today. Without her beautiful dream. Orchards with apple blossoms or lakes with drinking water.

Today in Europe there are many dilemmas but the greatest fear remains one and only; Will there be a collaboration between conservatives and center-right parties to lead the continent?

Predictions and curiosity about its future has reached its peak and no one has the strength to give a final answer. What will be the future of Europe after these elections?

This time will the steering wheel go to the right or will it continue the way it started? Which way will her heart actually beat?

One thing is certain, the game is being played in the union's Inner Six. Confronting the pressure between them has always been considered vital to checking the pulse of Brussels.

And yet beyond the political show and the harsh bureaucracy of its integration system, Europa, the beautiful princess who in ancient times charmed Zeus himself with her graces, seems to need more than ever the heart, the mind but above all for labor, Marx's immortal capital, to rise again where it belongs.

In the center of the world.
