What was Rama's mistake and what is expected of him in Himara

The Albanian opposition, found in front of the wall of justice and devaluation that time has brought, is sold to the first bidder and caught even a deflated chamberlain like Beleri, enough to stay above water and be a factor. We are the place where, to the anger of the mother-in-law, we sleep with the miller.

There is a proverb that says that when you shear cats, you get a lot of noise and little fur. Such was the story with Beleri, the consequences of which Rama did not understand when he did not pay attention to the Himara area a year ago.

Distracted in the republican campaign; victim of his reactive character; oblivious to the local social and economic climate of the province; with the belief that Goro would know how to lead a small municipality, with the self-confidence that deep areas of Labëria would not vote for a problematic person, Himara devoted herself to a cause that has been taking energy not only from the state for a year Albanian.

Yesterday's result capped an ordeal and Tavo's victory should come as no surprise. This is not only due to the fact that Rama mobilized and greased his entire electoral machinery; the awareness of the residents of the area; the appointment of a race politician of national rank like Vangjel Tavo, but also with the promise that the problems would be solved, problems which can only be solved by a mayor who opens his doors in Tirana.

This is also the moment that should be reflected. Greece does not have an artificial Himara problem at all, nor a made-up target. Since it cannot take the Russians from Russia and Ukraine, nor Izmir, Turkey, Himara is the only cause to keep the Greek far-right nationalists charged. Clashes with Albania are a proven mechanism that has no intention of discarding. It is not for nothing that for years the famous pensions have been paid by the Greek state even in clean Albanian villages such as Çorraj, Kudhës, Fterë and even Tërbaç. I share, the time has come for the Albanian state to close the problems there. The Himarjots (the entire municipality that this term means) are Albanians, but that district is also the only one that has received investments only recently. Roads are the beginning, but projects are needed for the development of agritourism. The issue of equipment with a property certificate is urgent for all of Albania, but especially in Himara where there were colossal abuses by previous leaders, especially those of OMONIA. SPAK should not neglect these issues either.

The area is waiting for attention and not casual investors or those who take the sea on foot despite the legal uncertainty. Himara can no longer be a hostage to the bashibozuks of OMONIA, nor to land brokers or adventurers.
