Is Vjosa Osmani useful as Albin Kurti's firefighter?
Vjosa Osmanot today in PE

The President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has started to think out loud against Albin Kurti. Today's speech in the European Parliament contradicts Albin Kurti's isolationist rhetoric and his anti-Western stance. Vjosa Osmani, who is the second after Ibrahim Rugova to speak on behalf of Kosovo in the European Parliament, quoted Ibrahim Rugova and his slogan "Freedom, Independence, Democracy". But he did all this not only to save Kosovo, but also Albin Kurti.

In a way, she is the highest official of Kosovo, who is trying to give guarantees to the West, that we will not leave Kosovo in the hands of Albin Kurti, while Albin Kurti seems to be calming her down, saying that he will not leave you in the hands of your western enemies.

Her rhetoric has also changed against the heads of the Albanian state, President Begaj and Prime Minister Rama, towards whom she has often shown signs of hatred in public. Her content after canceling the meeting and insisting that we must cooperate with Albania, is a far cry from her old language against Albania.

But is Vjosa Osmani useful as Albin Kurti's firefighter?

It seems that it wants to be useful and we should not prejudge it. But the problem is that Albin Kurti is not looking for a fire extinguisher, but looking for gasoline for the fire.

While in the North of Kosovo today, the Serbian army kidnapped three Kosovo policemen, inventing the "violation" of the border line, Albin Kurti, who is preaching sovereignty in Kosovo, without NATO and the USA acted as a "sovereignist" and blocked the customs of Kosovo that enter goods from Serbia.

I don't want to enter into the debate about the effect of this action, but one thing is clear, that Albin Kurti has no plan, but acts based on his emotions and determination to escalate the conflict. And the lack of a plan to get out of this tunnel where he entered, makes him more unpredictable and more uncoordinated with the internationals, but also with the political forces in Kosovo.

Thus, President Osmani is free to react harshly to the kidnapping of three Kosovo policemen in the North, but finds it difficult to defend or attack the sudden blocking of border points, an act which restores the tension and the state of war between the two countries, not counting the damage to the economy of Kosovo.

And in this respect, her public stances must either be completely opposed to the government's policies, or they will do more harm, since on the one hand they anger Albin Kurti, who feels that she is not in a wavelength with him, and in turn create the false illusion that they are together.

Her role as a firefighter is not going to work. She can put out the fires that Albini ignites with Albania, since Albania itself is careful not to harm Kosovo, but she cannot extinguish with a speech the fire that Albin Kurti has ignited with the Euro-Atlantic community, and even more so she cannot use the "sovereignty" of Albin Kurti to release the kidnapped Kosovo policemen, or to normalize the situation in Kosovo's customs.

Little by little, Albin Kurti is entering the spiral of Sali Berisha, who, hoping that one day his phone will ring and those from the USA or Brussels will ask him for help, tries to do all the stupid things that come to his mind. But Sali Berisha has no teeth to bite, because her panties' elastics have fallen off.

Albin Kurti is the prime minister of Kosovo and he still has a lot of things in hand to harm Kosovo, in an attempt to "bring" the West to its knees. The problem is that he will never get a phone call asking for an apology, but he might get a phone call that won't even bother him with an apology.

Tomorrow may hold other surprises, but it is clear even up to these moments, that Vjosa Osmani has decided to show loudly to everyone that he is not like Albini, and Albini has also decided to show whether for this reason, that he does not intend to be influenced by it. She is condemned either to be in line with Albin, or in front of him. Autocrats never let you be in between.
