A girl was pulled out of the premises of the shopping center engulfed in flames in the city of Lushnje. The employees of the fire department and the police were able to take her down with a crane, as she was in a state of asphyxiation but conscious.

So, a few police officers but also those of the fire brigade have shown breathing problems due to the smoke.

A little while ago, Interior Minister Taulant Balla arrived at the scene.

Balla has been standing next to the building following the work of firefighters and special police forces who are fighting the flames.

Balla has refused to comment on the serious situation for the media, as he has said that he will speak less moments later.

That's how the PD deputy, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted, asking for support for the firefighting forces.

"I am following the serious situation in Lushnje with great concern. In this difficult moment and anxiety for everyone, I sincerely hope that it will pass as soon as possible, without any consequences in the lives and health of the citizens.

At this moment, the only focus should be the support to the fire brigade and the police, to stop the fire and to give the necessary help to the citizens in danger", writes Bardhi.
