The situation in Daias, near Lundra, Tirana, and the surrounding hills continues to be critical.

The operation to extinguish the flames is being closely monitored by the fire brigades of Tirana and Kamza. The fire brigades of Elbasan have also come to their aid.

Due to the darkness, aerial intervention is impossible.

Due to the size of the flames, the police have blocked traffic on the road connecting Tirana with Lundra and Daias.

A blockade has been placed at the entrance to Mullet, where vehicles are not allowed to continue moving towards the area affected by the fire.

The Director of Tirana Police, Oliger Torba, is also on the ground, along with other Police structures, who are monitoring the situation and managing the security perimeter.

Meanwhile, the Tirana Water and Sewerage Directorate has announced that due to fires in the Priska and Farka areas, the Priska pumping station has been turned off, as there is a power outage.

As a result, there will be a power outage in Lundë.
