A serious incident was reported a few days ago in Sheqishte, Fier, where Zamir Meta had been sexually abusing his minor daughter, only 12 years old, for a long time.

Zamir Meta is now in prison while the minor is being held in a special institution in Tirana.

There are 6 other children in the Meta family, who are now being cared for by their mother, Juela Meta.

The state has provided them with an apartment after the owner of the house where they lived kicked them out after the case in question was made public.

Zamir Meta is accused of the criminal offenses of "Sexual or homosexual relations with minors" and "Sexual or homosexual relations with persons in the same sex or under guardianship."

Euronews reports that Juela Meta recounted the episode when she was attacked by her landlord, who threatened her that she had to vacate the apartment within 2 days or else blood would be shed.

Juela says she wrote to the police to report the case, but there the homeowner changed her statements, saying she felt threatened by Juela, and the latter was not provided with a protection order by the state.

" The neighbor was threatening me that there would be bloodshed. The lady of the house came with her brother and told me that I had to vacate the house in two more days because there would be bloodshed."

"I went to the police, I gave a statement, but the police did not give me a protection order. The lady comes with her brother and she changes her statements. She told the police that she also feels threatened ," said Juela Meta.
