Musa Gudo was one of the perpetrators who beat the 89-year-old to death after robbing him, but his name is not unknown to Albanian justice. Gudo was previously arrested for rape and blackmail. This is because on May 5, 2020, a 23-year-old woman from Fieri stated that Gudo, with whom she had an intimate relationship, invited her to his home and sexually abused her, along with a friend of his.

After that, the young woman said that Gudo and his friend threatened her to give him money. In the Court, at that time, Gudo said that he asked the 23-year-old for money because he was in a difficult economic situation. He took the blame by exonerating his friend. On May 15, 2020, the Court of Fier put Musa Gudo in prison, while for his friend he set the measure "obligation to appear".

He was sentenced to 2 years in prison, and while he did not reflect during his time in the cell, he was again involved in a criminal event, this time with serious consequences, causing the death of a person. This serious event happened the day before, where the victim was 89-year-old Çaush Shehajt in the village of Klos in Mallakastra.
