The murder of Pjerin Xhuvani

The Regional Directorate of the Police Supervision Agency Elbasan and Korça, in cooperation with the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office have executed 8 security measures for police officers who were at the event of the murder of Pjerin Xhuvani during the campaign.

It is learned that two police officers are under house arrest, while six others are suspended from duty.

They are charged with "abuse of duty", as they are suspected of making a false statement.

An official notification is expected from AMP regarding the case.

Investigations so far have proven that the former member of RENEA, Arbër Paplekaj, is the perpetrator of the murder of Pjerin Xhuvani.

Emiljan Prenga, Pavlo Vuksani, Eltjon Bodinaku, Pjerin Xhuvani's son-in-law and police officer Xhensila Sota were also injured in the conflict, which started after suspicions that a person was distributing money for votes.
