Journalist Klodiana Lala has stated that Marklen Haka, a former member of Nikla's gang, has refused the status of collaborator of justice.
She said in the show "Points on i" that Haka thinks that there is still a way out, therefore he refused to reveal the names of who shot him in the two assassination attempts.
"Marklen Haka survived a second well-organized assassination attempt on Nickel. He says a lot about the underworld, especially in a country like Nikla where even the police find it difficult to enter. Haka did not accept the status of collaborator of justice.
Still thinks there is a way out. Zheji said criminals who decide to repent do so for two reasons: first they want to avoid a maximum sentence and second they want to save the family. When Haka was offered the status, the man who offered it to him said: you have a murdered brother and an elderly father, you have nothing to lose. He refused to give out the names. He did not do this because he really thinks there is a way out. "He thought he would be targeted again ," Lala told News24.
We recall that a few weeks ago, Marklen Haka was assassinated where he was shot in the face, as he escaped and another assassination attempt in 2019 in front of his house, an event where his aunt, Shpresa Basha, died.
