Several young men have been registered as suspects in connection with the fight in Perugia, where 23-year-old Albanian, Hekuran Cumani, was killed. He was stabbed in the chest in a parking lot near the university.

According to local media, the young men were immediately questioned at the police station and represented by lawyers. Authorities are treating the incident as a suspected assault and threat, while the cause of the fight remains unclear. The incident broke out after a party at a club near the place where the young man was found dead.

The Perugia police investigation is considered complex, especially since the members of the two groups involved in the clash were unknown to each other. The Flying Squad is piecing together evidence to determine the truth and identify the person who inflicted the fatal stabbing.

The scene, a parking lot in front of the Mathematics Department of the University of Perugia, has no surveillance cameras, and the few cameras inside the building have not yielded any useful evidence for the investigation. Investigators also interviewed the victim's brother, who was slightly injured, but did not provide any crucial information.

The knife used to kill Cumani has not yet been found. The investigation shows that the fight began inside the nightclub and escalated outside into a fatal conflict. The fight began over “trivial issues” between two groups: one group made up of young people from the Marche region and the other of first and second generation Italian youth from Perugia. They did not know each other before and have no links to criminal gangs. The investigation claims that neither group was in possession of the knife, which was allegedly brought by a person later implicated by the Perugian group.
