Two people were arrested today by Tirana police after stealing a safe.

One of them was already under house arrest for theft.

"A. Xh., 40 years old and L. Gj., 38 years old, both residents of Vlora, previously convicted of theft. The verifications showed that citizen A. Xh. was under the security measure "House Arrest", for the criminal offense "Theft"", the police announced.

From the investigations carried out, it results that on June 2, they stole a safe containing 15 thousand euros from an apartment on "Muhamet Gjollesha" street.

It was the owner of the apartment himself who reported the case and then Tirana police officers carried out the "Reaction" operation where they placed the perpetrators in handcuffs.
