A large warehouse in Ontario, California, was destroyed by an arson attack, with authorities arresting a 29-year-old employee as the suspected perpetrator.

The fire broke out overnight and engulfed a distribution center filled with paper products, including toilet paper, spreading at incredible speed.

More than 170 firefighters were deployed to bring the flames under control, which continued for hours and caused the building's roof to collapse.

Authorities identified the employee as the prime suspect, who was subsequently arrested and faces felony arson charges.

Investigations showed that the fire had signs of intentionality, due to its rapid spread and the existence of several ignition points.

The suspect had also posted a video on social media where he is seen setting fire, expressing dissatisfaction over his salary.

Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the material damage is extensive and many employees were left unemployed after the complete destruction of the warehouse.
