Oncology doctor Edmond Gashi ran away from the premises of the Court, after the black squads imposed the "house arrest" security measure against him.
Edmond Gashi is accused of driving cancer patients from the QSUT hospital to his private clinic "Megis" in the area of Astir.
The doctors and employees of the "Oncological" hospital had set up a scheme of fraud and abuse, where in order to earn large sums of money, they left patients with tumor diseases without service, so that they could go to private clinics.
Part of this scheme were: Edmond Gashi, doctor at the Oncology Hospital, Emiljano Lela, coordinator at the Oncology Hospital, Alketa Ymeri (Pere), Doctor at the Oncology Hospital, Brikena Qirjazi, deputy director at the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center, in collaboration with the owner of the private clinic "Megis", which is managed by Halil Gashi, Florian Marku, administrator of the pharmacy 'Flori Farma' and Drilona Kishta.
According to the file provided by VoxNews, if a patient asked to receive a service at the Oncology Department, the doctors talked to him about long lines and directed him to the "Megis" clinic.
Suspected and counterfeit medicines were being sold, thus aggravating the situation. Some of the drugs were taken from the Oncology department.
When a patient asked for a dose at the Oncologist, he was given a small amount, the rest was at the "Megis" clinic.
Also, in the "Mother Teresa" hospital, the source of cobalt was located, which was left out of the conditions of usability, turning into a source of danger for patients.
The eavesdropping and conversations between doctors and colleagues highlighted not only the lawlessness that was taking place in this hospital, but also the negligence and lack of humanity that the white shirts showed towards the sick.
One of the cases is when the patients had a fever, while doctor Gashi appears totally indifferent to this fact.
In other messages, one can see the increased panic among sick patients who were urgently sent to private clinics in order to be operated on and receive money, regardless of the chances they had to survive.
The conversations where the doctors were interested and detailed are the ones about the shopping under their hands and the vacations they would take with the money earned.
