A 32-year-old woman from the United Kingdom has died in Jalë, Himara, after developing health problems while staying at a hotel.

Despite the assistance provided at the Health Center, the young woman was unable to survive.

A natural death is initially suspected, as preliminary medical examinations revealed that this citizen had health problems, specifically respiratory problems and diabetes.

"On 21.09.2026, at around 18:40, a notification was received that the IR citizen, 32 years old, born in London, United Kingdom, who was accommodated in a hotel in Jalë, had shown health problems and had sought assistance at the hotel reception.

The hotel staff immediately transported her to the Health Center, where, despite the assistance provided, the 32-year-old passed away.

A natural death is initially suspected, as preliminary medical examinations revealed that this citizen had health problems, specifically respiratory problems and diabetes.

"The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is carrying out procedural actions and verifications continue to fully determine the cause of death," the police announced.
